We waited almost 2 years for the arrival of Emilie; after seeing her sire, dam, and grandam at the 2007 French Club Match, we knew we wanted to add her lines to our breeding plans. Emilie is the first, and only, dogue from her kennel to be sent to the U.S. We are truly thankful to Anne Desmedt for entrusting Emilie with our family. From day one, she has made a great addition to our family; she is one of our most easy going dogues and is happiest when she's curled up on the sofa next to us.
Emilie is from Viking Des Cerberes de Broceliande and Falbala; her pedigree is pretty much a who's who of the finest dogues of all time from France, Belgium, and The Netherlands. Our hope is that Emilie will bring the same outstanding type and longevity, found throughout her pedigree, to our kennel. While she is very young, Emilie shows tremendous promise; her substance and bone are quite impressive and her overall construction is correct. She already has the broad topskull of her father with the familiar expression adn unsurpassed brow of her mother and grandfather, the famous Enferno. Emilie also possesses one of the most impressive "spring of rib" I've ever seen.
We knew we had something special when Prof. Raymond Triquet stopped me at the 2009 French Club Match to say he told the breeder he didn't want Emilie to leave for the U.S.; he wanted her to stay in France. You can't ask for a better endorsement than that.
