Brandy is, without a doubt, the Queen of our pack...even at 8 years old. From the day she arrived, Brandy has exhibited the true working drive of this breed. While she can be handful at times, we've always respected and revered her for what she is: a true Dogue de Bordeaux. She is devoted, loving, silly, athletic, strong willed, and protective.
When Brandy joined our family, we hadn't yet discovered dog shows and because of that, Brandy has been show very limitedly. She has however, done very well under highly respected judges. Brandy earned a major BOS win under Anne-Marie Class and was rated "excellent" by Bas Bosch at the 2006 DDBSA National Specialty. 4 years later, at almost 8 years old, Brandy showed in the Veteran Class for Bas Bosch again and he honored her with the Select Bitch award for the event. It was quite a treat for the Monarch family and extended family to watch Brandy, her daughter Molly, and 5 of her grandchildren in the same ring.
